I am a catalog/metadata librarian for University of South Florida Libraries Academic
Resources. I hold a B.A. in communications from Loyola University New Orleans and M.A. in
library and information science from University of South Florida. I provide cataloging
for our locally digitized collections in all formats and metadata for our scholarly
communications projects. The batch loading of e-book collections has recently been added
to my duties. I was formerly the library's liaison to the School of Mass
Communications and School of Theatre & Dance at USF. Mass media and performing arts
are personal interests, and the uses of library catalogs to convey information to patrons
a professional interest. I am active in the Association for Library Collections and
Technical Services (ALCTS) division of the American Library Association.
