About Beth L. Haas

Dean Beth Haas directs strategy for and oversees the daily operations of the Law School’s online Master of Legal Studies degree program, two online LL.M degree programs, and eight graduate certificates.  She was a pioneer in online legal education, having developed and delivered Kline’s first asynchronous JD-level online courses more than a decade ago and she remains a leader in the field. Before joining Kline, Beth was a Partner at Blank Rome, LLP, in Philadelphia where she maintained a nationally recognized aviation litigation practice.  She holds a JD from Villanova Law School—where she was an associate editor of the Villanova Law Review—and a BA in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.

Beth serves on many University committees devoted to quality online education and from 2015 to 2018, she served as a Faculty Fellow to the University’s Online Learning Council. In 2014, she received the Outstanding Online Faculty Award from Drexel University Online. She is a member of the American Bar Association's Tort and Insurance Practice Section and the National Association for Law Placement. Dean Haas is active in the local non-profit community. Most recently, she served on the board of Living Beyond Breast Cancer from 2011 to 2018.
