Barbara Magi Tarasovich joined Sacred Heart University's John F. Welch College
of Business after a long career as an executive in the financial profession. Her most
recent position was Director of Finance of Unilever's Global Information Technology
Division. During her 25+ year career at Unilever, Dr. Tarasovich led many projects
including major companywide system implementations, North American finance team strategic
thrusts, and acquisition and outsourcing agreements with major U.S. companies. 

Dr. Tarasovich is a licensed CPA in the State of Connecticut and a member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants. 

Her teaching experience includes Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting and
Auditing. 

Dr. Tarasovich is also the author of journal articles and has made many presentations at
professional conferences.
