Abstract

The case discussed here is part of the Kashmir report. I have pasted it here separately for the convenience of those who may want to look at specific cases.

This case illustrates the absolute inhumanity that is a "crackdown" (cordon and search operation). The cruelty visited upon Abdul Gani was almost casual and, certainly 'routine'. It also shows the helplessness of the victims in the face of the juggernaut of the state.
