Abstract
Broadcasting library orientations is an efficient way to bring library instruction to many students without increasing librarian workload. Incorporating different technologies will help transform your virtual instruction from a static video broadcast to a dynamic interactive session. In addition, using technology in your library instruction greatly increases your opportunities for capturing assessment data. In this case study, the authors discuss how they leveraged low cost or existing technologies to create the LOOP (Library Online Orientation Program) at Kennesaw State University.
