Alan's Thesis for his PhD is titled "The impact of claim diagnosticity on consumer scepticism to corporate social responsibility advertising claims." Alan has worked in a range of industries, including secondary, TAFE and university education, airlines, construction and tourism, both in Australia and overseas. His MBA specialisation is in services marketing. Alan commenced at the University of Wollongong in July 2004, following 5 years teaching for the Higher Colleges of Technology in the United Arab Emirates. Alan's most recent publications have been in Gulf Marketing Review, the trade marketing magazine for the Middle East and Gulf states.
