Environmental health risk perception in Australia : a research report to the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care

Abstract

This study presents a wide ranging and detailed analysis of the perceptions of health risks of a representative sample of the Australian population. The survey has reported on the perceived risks to health of a large number of hazards present in the environment, both to the Australian public as a whole, and to the individual respondents and their families.
