Associate Professor Anne Taylor is a qualified epidemiologist with over twenty years experience in the field of chronic disease, particularly the epidemiological and statistical analysis of population research. She has considerable experience in the efficacy of different approaches to population studies; especially telephone survey methodologies, population surveillance, and cohort recruitment and maintenance, with expertise in both the population perspective of chronic disease and risk factor monitoring and surveillance. With over 100 peer-reviewed publications, and 60 departmental reports primarily concerned with chronic disease epidemiology, A/Prof Taylor is a well accomplished author. Having been the keynote speaker at international scientific meetings and presented at over 30 conferences, she is also a well experienced presenter. A/Prof Taylor holds a PhD from the University of Adelaide and has many continuing research associations with this University, the University of South Australia, and Flinders University, as well as a well established working relationship with the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) Atlanta.
