About Anne Carayon

Carayon is an artist who has exhibited in France and in the Twin Cities. She teaches advanced stylistics, art and ideas in French culture and French at all levels. She is interested in contemporary aesthetics and has produced two video documentary projects on women immigrant artists in France and French Polynesian women writers.
EDUCATION: B.A., State University New York at Buffalo, 1974; M.A., University of Arizona, 1976.
Carayon has been teaching at Macalester since 1981.
