The USU Copyright Committee was formed by the Dean of Libraries, Richard Clement, in September, 2009. It was charged with developing an overall understanding of copyright; implementing an outreach program to provide training and increase awareness of copyright issues of interest to the USU campus community; and serving as an advisory group for the library and USU community as new copyright situations arise. The committee has representatives from the USU Library, IT, FACT, RCDE, USU Bookstore, USU Press and TCO, as well as a student representative; it also maintains this website.
