About Andrew T. Sulavik
Over the past fifteen years I have pursued two passions: Information Sciences (metadata) and medieval studies (medieval biblical commentaries and sermons). I remain dedicated to both endeavors. At Howard University we are busy implementing the latest integrated library service, Alma, complemented with a discovery layer, Primo VE. I am working on a Latin critical edition of the university sermons of William of Luxi, OP (ca. 1267-1274), a master of theology at the University of Paris. I am also interested in the topics of medieval biblical exegesis and academic speeches. I am editing the text of a French Franciscan, Peter Auriol (ca. 1280–1322), "Recommendatio et divisio sacrae Scripturae, on the basis of MS Paris, Bibl. Nat., Lat. 14566, ff. 2ra-7rb.
I reside in Alexandria, Virginia (Old Town), with my beautiful wife, Renee, and my two Japanese Chins, Miki and Picco.
On the weekends, I am capable of playing a really poor round of golf.
