Qualifications Higher National Diploma in Building Construction Management - Brixton School of Building, London Master of Science (Construction Project Management) - Brunel University, London Bachelor of Education - Adelaide College of the Arts and Education Associate Professor of Project Management Andrew Leicester started his career as a building contractor and construction project manager, working on multi-million dollar projects in England, Australia and New Guinea. Andrew became an academic in 1977 and head of construction and architecture at the Northern Territory University. He developed Project Management programs for the NTU and the Queensland University of Technology where he was program director for project management for 7 years. In 1995, he left QUT to focus on Consat (Australia) Pty Ltd as a specialist industry training consultancy, specifically focused on developing courses and seminars in all aspects of Project Management. These courses are delivered in universities, and to government departments and multinational corporations around the world. The company operates on four continents presenting more than 50 training courses per year, in addition to offering consultancy and organizational development for national and international industry leaders. Complementing the training agenda, Andrew is also a director of PM Global which runs PMOz, PM Asia and World Project Management Week which are important international project management conferences held each year. Andrew is appointed as a visiting professor at Reading University in UK and for 6 years was a visiting professor at Stellenbosch University in South Africa
