Andrew currently coordinates research data management (RDM) education initiatives
for the Lamar Soutter Library of the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He works
on a variety of the library's science, eScience and scientific data management
outreach projects. He has also been involved with many of the library's
international outreach projects, including the rehabilitation of the University of
Liberia's medical college library. Andrew first joined the library staff in 2009 as
an intern on the eScience Portal project. He holds a degree in Biology and is a graduate
of Virginia Tech's School of Education and Simmons College Graduate School of
Library and Information Science. His research interests include international library
models for teaching research data management and providing RDM services.
