Andreas Assiotis is currently employed in the Department of Economics at the University of Cyprus. His research interests include topics in Macroeconomics, Economic Development and Growth, Financial and International Economics, and International Trade. His current research focuses on how political reforms (political transformations) and economic reforms (economic institutions, trade liberalization, financial liberalization) affect economic development and the growth performance of a country.
