Abstract

This presentation offers short exercises on various aspects of statutory research to give students the opportunity to practice their research skills and build their confidence. The exercises demonstrate a variety of effective search strategies, including use of a secondary source and browsing a statute index or a table of contents. In addition, natural language and terms and connector searching are compared.
