The Identity Work of Leadership
Abstract
The identity work of leadership is an approach in leadership education that draws on identity theories and aims to support leaders to explore influences such as backgrounds and childhoods on their current leadership style. It provides leaders with a perspective on their patterns of behaviour and helps them to experiment and innovate in doing leadership differently.Suggested Citation
