About Alexander (Sasha) Prokhorov
Alexander Prokhorov is a co-author (with Elena Prokhorova) of Film and Television Genres of the Late Soviet Era (2017) and co-editor (with Nancy Condee and Elena Prokhorova) of Cinemasaurus: Russian Film in Contemporary Context (2020). He also co-edited (with Elena Prokhorova and Rimgaila Salys) Russian TV Series in the Era of Transition (2022). His articles and reviews have been published in Journal of Film and Video, Kinokultura, Russian Review, Slavic Review, Slavic and East European Journal , Studies in Russian and Soviet Cinema, Art of Cinema (Iskusstvo kino), and Wiener Slawistische Almanach.
