Alessandra Tami is Associate Professor of Financial Statement Analysis and Accounting Standards at the Faculty of Economics, Milan Bicocca University, where she teaches two courses: “Financial Analysis” and “Economics of Nonprofit Enterprises”. A graduate in Economics and Commerce at the Catholic University of Milan, she has taught and researched at the Institute of Business Economics (Catholic University of Milan), at the Department of Political and Business Economics (Milan University). She belongs to the GBS – a study group for Social Accounting, member of the CSEAR – Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research – University of St. Andrews-Scotland-UK. She is also a member of Eben Italia and of the AIAF workshop (Milan) on “Models of financial analysis for the prevention of insolvency”. Her research interests and training activities cover: business valuation, estimate of financial needs and coverage choices, financial statement analysis and accounting harmonisation, CRS themes, with particular emphasis on the impact of business strategies on the natural environment. She is a chartered accountant, belongs to the editorial board of the Rivista dei Dottori Commercialisti, contributes to major magazines (Amministrazione & Finanza, Rivista dei Dottori Commercialisti), and helds training courses at the Fondazione dell’Ordine dei Dottori Commercialisti in Milan on topics such as corporate finance and evalution of business performance.
