My duties include working closely with others in the department in organizing, developing, and
team-based delivery of swine production medicine courses offered by the Food Supply
Veterinary Medicine section of VDPAM. Helping with lecturing in swine related topics in other
veterinary college courses as needed as well as working to convert swine course content to web
based modules for greater flexibility in teaching. Active engagement for delivering continuing
education to swine practitioners in evidence based decision support. Research interests include
infectious disease transmission including PRRS and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Clostridium
spp, Biosecurity, as well as infectious diseases of public health significance.
