A native of Mexico, Alejandro Osuna González's own research interests are in the area of international trade law and law and economics. He received a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Plantel Tijuana, where he chairs the law department and teaches private international law and alternative dispute resolution. He obtained a master of laws degree from the University of Pittsburg School of Law. He has served as visiting professor at the Universidad de Puerto Rico and the Universitat de Barcelona.
