Make the Smart Choice: What to Think about before Submitting your Manuscript to a Journal

Abstract
An increasing number of research funders require free public access to the outcomes of funded research. To comply with the requirement, some researchers choose to publish their findings in open access journals. Given that there are so many choices, what should researchers consider when choosing an open access journal to publish? This session fills authors in on issues that should be considered before they submit a manuscript to an open access journal.
