Corporate liability for manslaughter: the need for further reform

Abstract

Common law principles underpinning corporate criminal responsibility for death by corporate negligence - statutory reform in Australia and the UK - need for further reform encompassing an aggregation of corporate negligence, the abandonment of the strict requirements of mens rea and new sentencing options.
