My academic background includes modern U.S. and Latin American history, but my
historic interests include foodways, Florida, the University of South Florida, popular
culture, immigration, and cooking. My work experience includes audio and video recording
and editing, oral history, special collections, Floridiana, library instruction, and
teaching classes on Florida foodways and historic preservation.
