Dr Frazer is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Law. With a background in history
(honours degree and PhD), most of Andrew's work deals with historical perspectives
on law, especially labour law. In his research Andrew draws on labour and social history,
industrial relations and wider social theory. He describes his work as contributing to
the social history of labour law. Andrew's main research focus is on the history of
Australian labour law and institutions, particularly the history of the federal and New
South Wales industrial arbitration systems.
