About Adam W. Tyma

Adam W. Tyma (PhD, North Dakota State University) is a Professor (Critical Media Studies) in the School of Communication at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  He also is the current Graduate Program Chair for the Master’s program in the School and the coordinator for the Visual Communication and Culture minor.  He teaches courses that focus on media theory and culture, media literacy, visual culture, critical and cultural theory, computer-mediated communication, media consumption, and popular culture.
